Key Points:
As a resident in my district, I implore you to stop all current and future funding and authorizations of the Army Corps' Industrial Canal (IHNC) Lock Replacement project.
This project poses severe economic, environmental, and health risks to New Orleans residents and businesses.
If authorized and funded, it would displace homeowners, waste taxpayer dollars, lower property values, unearth toxic soils, create construction noise and disruption for at least 13 years, and elevate flood risks to myself and others.
